Kia Ora , welcome back to my second blog of week 5.
In this blog I will cover creativity another of the six c's. First of all everybody has a little bit of creativity and to show this we did an activity where we where given a piece of paper with 4 circles and 4 squares. We where told to turn these into objects which could occur in an everyday life situation. I turned the 4 circles into a cookie, a donut, a netball and a cricket ball. I turned the 4 squares into a monster, a phone, a book and photo frame with a beach setting inside. Then we watched a video about some creativity and it talked about the different sides of the brain and the different ways that people think about different circumstances and situations.
How do you show your creativity? Through drawing? Through writing? Let me know in the comments!
See you next time
Bye :)

Collaboration Reflection PBL T1
Kia Ora welcome back to my blog,
This term for PBL we had to make a project for the fair. We have to write a blog about how we contributed to the our PBL group.
During this PBL I think I have showed Collaboration by:
Contributing what i needed to and helping the others to contribute what was expected of them. I also think I worked well by respecting others ideas and using my teams ideas to make one great idea.
Next time I could help my PBL group out by:
Making important decisions that take into consideration different perspectives and the mutual benefit of the group.
What do you think you bring to a team when working with others?
See you next time
Bye :)

Rad Reading W3 T1 😎
Aloha welcome back to my blog,
This week my goal for reading was to: Use knowledge from text to combine with new ideas (own and others) to come up with new thinking. We read about Caritas helping around the area of Papua new Guinea. Here is the D.L.O I made about my ideas from the book and the new thinking I got.
What do you know About Caritas?
How do you help out around your community?

Measurement and perimeter!🏁😃
Kia Ora, welcome back to my blog,
This week my goal for maths is: Use side or edge lengths to find the perimeters of rectangles, parallelograms, and triangles. We measured the court and had to make a D.L.O (Digital Learning object) about our understanding of perimeter. Here is my D.L.O
What is your favourite thing to do in Maths?

Give your hands a clean clean clean!😃
Hello, welcome back to my blog.
This week for writing my goal was: Understand the purpose for writing, and how to achieve those purposes. We wrote a procedure on how to wash your hands properly as there are lots of bugs travelling round at the moment. Here is my procedure.
How will you wash you hands differently after looking at this blog post?

Waitangi Day 😃🏁
Kia Ora welcome back,
This week our main focus has Waitangi and learning more about the culture of New Zealand and the Maori. We had to make a digital learning object about the treaty of Waitangi. Mine is the treaty sitting on the table before everyone signed it then I drew a magnifying glass and it showed the treaty. Here is my drawing.

How much do you know about the treaty and New Zealand culture? You could tell me an interesting fact that I may not know about it?
Hope you enjoyed
See you next time

2020 😋😃
Kia Ora, welcome back. I Hope everyone has had a great Christmas and happy new year.
To kick of this year I would like to share with you my hopes for 2020.
To kick of this year I would like to share with you my hopes for 2020.
- In 2020 I would like to spend more time with my friends and grow a stronger relationship with them. This means we work well together. My main aim around education this year is to become better at maths. My last hope is to do with sport. I'm not the best at cross country or athletics but my only aim is to be proud with my result and be happy for those who win.
The second thing I would like to talk about is what i'm looking forward to in 2020. This year I'm looking forward to being in a leadership group. Another thing I'm excited for is the fair. The fair is on Sunday the 8th of march. I'm sure you will hear much more about it in blogs to come.
The last thing I would like to talk about today is some of the stuff I did in the holidays. My favourite day of the holidays was when I went to hanmer. On a Thursday i went to hanmer the day and spent the hole day swimming and waiting in line for the hydroslides. The we had some pizza for dinner. We went at about 7:00am and got home around 10:00pm.
What are your hopes in around school for this year? What did you do in the holidays?
Hope you guys enjoyed
See you next time
Bye :)
