Tough Kids 🏃🏁

Bula, Welcome back to my blog.

Today I will be talking about Tough Kids. Tough kids is an event run bye sport Canterbury and is participated in  by lots of schools in Christchurch. You can dress up funny and have a run with lots of obstacles on the way. Some of the obstacles were things like crawling under a met in the mud, running through the ocean or being wt bye the big fire truck hose. My friends and I dressed up in rainbow order me being green. We wore a black top with a tutu the colour that we were. Here is an article on stuff about Tough kids if you would like to read it. Tough Kids article. It was so much fun and I hope to do it again next year. Here is a picture of me and my friends.

Sport Reflection. ⚾🏄🏀

Aloha, Today I will be sharing with you my reflection on the sport we have been doing in school recently.
 Over the past 4 weeks we have been doing sport on a Thursday afternoon we did, Lawn bowls, Cricket, Korfball and Softball.

Cricket.

In Cricket we just played a friendly game were you got to bat for 1 over and bowl 3 balls so we could fit everyone in. If we were doing something incorrectly our wood works teacher would politely correct us so that we can all get better at it.

Korfball

I've never played korfball before but who knew it was so fun. In Korfball the Man taught us all of the rules and we played. First of all he started of with 1 rule than he gave us all the rules and we were nearly playing a proper game of Korfball. Some of the rules are that you can't walk, step or dribble the ball, if the player is about to shoot and the defend is in line with the hoop it is a good defended shot and the defender gets the ball and boys can only mark boys and girls can only defend girls.

Lawn Balls

In lawn bowls we learnt how to hold the ball and bowl the ball. We did a hole heap of games one of the games was there was 3 hoops, one was worth 20, one was worth 50 and one was worth 100. So whatever one you landed the bowl in that is how many points you got.

Winter Sport ⚽🏈

Kia ora welcome back to my blog. 

Today I will be talking about Winter Sport. Winter Sport is over :(! Our last game was last week and we lost to Selwyn house. Although we lost in I'm still proud of the girls for coming 4th in the competition. I hope that next year I can play netball again and do our school proud.

Thursday Sport🏆⚽

Ola, who's excited for the holidays (ME),

Today i'll be talking about my netball game today. Today we played St Teresa school. We had a good game. Today I played in WD, C and GD and I was off for one quarter. Today we won 13-7. We played really well and can't wait to play this Saturday!

Winter sport catch up⚽🏆

Bula, Lately I haven't been doing my sports posts so here's a quick recap.

*2 weeks ago on Saturday we played Belfast. It was a good game and we won 21-0. That game I got player of the day. I played well for my 3 quarters in WD and me and my team were really happy with our end results.

*Last week on Thursday at winter sports we played Elsmere college. We sadly didn't come away with a win but that's OK because we played a not so bad game.

*The last Saturday we played Cashmere. We won 18-10. That was also a really good game.

* The most recent game was yesterday. Yesterday we had a tough game. We played Catholic Cathedral College. They had some really tough players but I think that our team played really well to the best of our ability's. We lost 24-9. I scored a goal! Usually I play in the mid-court. Yesterday I tried GA. I enjoyed it but I still like the mid-court the best.

Yesterday at winter sports netball we played Middleton grande. It was really tough game and we sadly lost but the score was 6-3.

Weekend Netball 😎⚽

Hello,

Today at netball I played for a different team. I really enjoyed having other people to pass around to. I also enjoyed playing netball with some new people that I have never played with before. We won 11-8 and I played 3/4 WD(wing defence) and the other one I played in C (centre). The team I usually play for won 20-9. Can't wait for Thursday sport next week as we didn't get to play last Thursday.

Thursday netball😃⚽

Aloha, welcome back to my blog I hope everyone has had a good week so far,

Today I'm going to be talking about Thursday sports, Today we had a good game down at Hagley. It was a very close game but we ended with a win. We played OLA they had a very good team, but it was very tight at the finish. We won 11-10, but OLA had a very good team and I can't wait to play them next time to see the result

Saturday Netball😃⚽

Aloha welcome back to my blog, hope everyone has had a good weekend.

Yesterday in netball I went down to the courts at around 9:40am my game was at 10:30,on court 21. We warmed up and then it was time. For the first quarter I was off and the other three quaters I played in WD (Wing Defence). It was a good game and at the end we were happy with our result. We won 29-8. This week I will only blog about netball on Thursday as we don't have netball on Saturday because of queens birthday.

Welcome back to my blog. This season I will be blogging on Saturdays and Thursdays about netball. Yesterday I had a bye for Thursday sports but, tomorrow I will be playing Cashmere down at the courts. I hope that I can play well and have good sportsmanship either way it goes.

Cross country🌄🏃

Today I will be talking about the one and only 2019 crosssss country! This year cross country was held at Walter Park. The dew sat on the fresh green grass as St Francis of Assisi school turned up at the cross country. Bang! Went the year 8 boys. The butterfly's were fluttering in my tummy. Bang! Went the year 8 girls. Bang! went the year 7 boys. This year the cross country was on a Thursday. On the Tuesday of that week I jammed my toe in a door and had a big swollen and bruised mark on my foot ouchhhh. I was determined that this year I would run the cross country as last year i couldn't because I had a big burn on my foot. Bang! Of the year 7 girls went and that meant me. I ran as hard as I could for the first 2 laps but after that I had to stop my foot hurt really bad and I couldn't run anymore. I cheered on my friends as they finished the race. Next I hope that I won't be injured so that I can actually take part in the hole thing.

Winter sport.

Hello,
Yesterday we had winter sport at, Hagley Park. We haven't been there for the last four weeks !! The  rain has been so heavy and because there was a lot of rain and not much sun, the winter weather  is wrecking the fields and because all of the sports except for netball is on grass we can't go. So yesterday it was a nice winter's day and we finally got to go. I'm in the tarantulas netball team. For the whole season, we have been unbeatable. Yesterday we played the OLA (Our Lady of Assumption) Leprechauns. Another great win for us, and for me player of the day .The score was 20-4. We play four ten minute half's. Our team has Caitlin, Felicity, Lucas, Maia, Me, Grace A, Mereana, Sienna and Emily C. We qualified for the north zone competition, next week on Tuesday the 31st of June. We compete against four other teams hoping for victory. We are mostly a good team, and our love for the game makes us even better.
