Poem! 😎

Aloha, welcome back to my blog!

Today I will be showing you the poem I wrote about myself for writing in week 7. This poem is called a Haiku. It had 5 syllables the 7 syllables the 5 syllables and I had to write 3 verses. Afterwards I had to make it look fancier by adding colour. Here it is I hope you enjoy it.

What your favourite type of poem to write?
See you next time Bye :)

A haiku is such an awesome poem to have a go at! It is always a bit tricky to get the correct amount of syllables in the right lines, but you have done a great job doing so.
I think it is awesome how you managed to fit so many facts about yourself into your poem.
I really enjoy sweet mangos as well, and elephants and dogs are some of my favourite animals!
I have never really played netball before, but it looks like such a fun game to play!
I always find it easier to clap out words to figure out how many syllables they have. Did you clap out each line in your haiku, or was there another way you managed to do this?
Quick Tip- The very last line in your poem doesn’t quite have the correct amount of syllables. ‘Thanks for listening’ is only 4 syllables, however if you changed it to ‘Thank you for listening’ it becomes 5, and fits into your haiku!
