Writing Term 2 Week 5! 😎🐨

Bula welcome back to my blog,

This week in writing I didn't have a goal. We had to write a narrative about one of the 4 prompts the teachers gave us. It had to be between 250-300 words. Here is the prompt I chose. It is called Creature from the deep. Here is my story hope you like it!

The bathroom door banged, as the wind blew through the opened rusty window. The fireplace crackled and popped as the orange flames burned the rotten old wood. Levi’s dark brown curly hair sat on the top of his head, along with the glasses that are wrapped around his rather large ears. His ocean blue eyes stared into the glass on the microwave as he checked on his dinner. Levi slurped down his spaghetti while he watched the 6 o’clock news. The weather was said to be very rainy and a thunderstorm was supposed to hit later that night. He got up from the couch and rang his mother.
“Hello mum, I’m very worried about the thunderstorm that is supposed to hit later this evening” I explained.
“Come over to mine you can use the spare room” she replied.
“Ok I will be right over”. I said with a warm feeling in my heart.
While I packed  my bags and got ready to head away, I continued to think about the long drive in the miserable weather. Thoughts were running though about the thunder storm hitting while I was on my way. I jumped in the car and began my drive. I was nearly half way as I heard a big bang coming from the sky. I could hear the waves banging against the shore as I drew closer and closer towards the beach.  As I drove past the beach a large wave flew over the concrete barrier that separated the beach from the road. I just dodged the water from hitting my car when something slimy and black looking landed on my windscreen. Then I heard a squirting sound as my windscreen was filled with black ink. Oh no, I pulled to the side of the road and called for help.

Give me some feedback about my story in the comments!
See you next time Bye :)
